Madonna accused of not paying co-author on her Madame X album

Pop queen Madonna is accused of not paying for a songwriter on her 2019 album "Madame X".

Casey Spooner, a member of the recently disbanded electronic pop group Fischerspooner, wrote on Instagram that he co-authored the song "God Control" and that the pop queen owes him money.

"I've had enough. I didn't get any compensation. While you're performing, I'm completely ignored and robbed. They're trying to intimidate me. It's not easy to fight the giants," Spooner said on Instagram.

He claims he was first offered $ 10,000 and then $ 25,000 as a down payment against future issuance fees, but instead would be paid one percent of the tourist profit.

Madonna did not comment on these allegations. The song "God Control", which opposes gun control in the US, has already sparked controversy. His violent music video depicts an attack similar to the one at a Orlando nightclub in June 2016 that killed 49 people.
