Women of Karl Lagerfeld

Women of Karl Lagerfeld

As the creative director of Chanel, Chloé and Fendi, Karl Lagerfeld, who died on Tuesday, February the 19th at 85, dressed some of the world's most famous women and embraced the newest generations of fresh talent. But not any women, this was possible exclusively for the world's most stylish and interesting ones.

Lagerfeld took inspiration from many famous faces and enjoyed dressing them for his Chanel shows and campaigns. Kate MossVanessa Paradis, Claudia Schiffer, Cara Delevingne and Kendall Jenner are some of the ladies that inspired Lagerfeld's creative vision.

He was also inspired by Hollywood women and chose to dress some of the most elegant actresses on the red carpet including Diane Kruger, Julianne Moore and Kristen Stewart.

British actress Keira Knightley has been a Chanel muse and also the face of Chanel fragrance Coco Mademoiselle for over 10 years, starring in a number of advertising campaigns.
